There are two deluxe bedrooms in ‘The Master Appartment’ which share a shower room, for a group of two or three painters. No supplement. For three painters sharing the Master, accommodation price is 400+400+400 (mid season) and 500+500+500 (high season).

STEP 3. Pay the Accommodation
Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive an invoice from the owner. Pay within 7 days to secure your reservation. The owner, Vanya Pavalides, accepts various currencies (GBP, USD, etc) and has multiple bank accounts for easy payment.

‘La Madone’ is a charming Provençal farmhouse (gîte) with a history of hosting artists.
Enjoy a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with assistance from your concierge, Nadege, who is also an excellent Provençal chef.
About the House
” La Madone is Eco friendly, which means we use only organic detergeants, organic soaps, organic disinfectants, No synthetic material, and the pool is cleaned by saline technology so it is chlorine free.
The house is a beautiful renovated provencal farmhouse, in the middle of 7ha of vineyards and fruit trees, completely isolated, with a private road to access the house and no neighbors.
As both my parents were artists, the house is done the way they wanted it, simple, comfortable, rustique and with a lot of character.
About the History of the House
” The house has a little history which is nice to tell. My mother was married to Curd Jurgens for 19 years, before meeting my Greek father. Curd Jurgens was a quite famous Hollywood actor back in the days, playing in moves like (“Michel Strogoff”, “The Inn of the sixth happiness”, “Battle of Britain”, “The spy who loved me”, “The enemy below”, “And God created Woman” and many more). When they separated, my mother bought this beautiful farmhouse and started renovating it with my father. Then I was born, and we lived there for 9 years. We’ve had many famous visitors, friends of my mother’s from the glamorous times when she was married to Curd. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, Maria Schell, Giacometti, Leonard Cohen, Romy Schneider, Herbert Von Karajan and many more came for a relaxed time in the Provence…
STEP 4. Pay for the Painting Course
750€ per painter. 700€ returning student. 65€ non painting partner.
Payable four months before the start of the course.
- 25 December 2025 for the April course
- 10 January 2026 for the May course
- 18 May for the September course
‘Adam Cope’ (business license 41962662700030). Adam will send you an invoice from his accounting software, from which you can pay either by credit card via Stripe or by bank draft in euros to his French bank account. Please make sure that emails from abby.fr get through to you.

Pre-course Homework
Here is the link to the webpage with the pre-course homework. It mostly involves The Split-Primaries. Each level of experinece has a few suggestions. Please note that these are only suggestions that will help you fully benefit from the course.
STEP 5. Pay the Chef
700 euros per person. Due on Arrival. Possibility payment via Paypal or French bank draft. A few weeks before cours estart date, you will recieve an email enquiring if you have any special dietary requirements, etc & dteails how to pay via PayPal if you choose.

Travel Resources
Course start time is 17hr Day One. Course finish time is 10 hr Day Eight
Transfers
Transfers between Avignon TVG train station and La Madone are available on start and finish days. The 70-minute shared taxi ride costs around €120, split among passengers. Pre-booking required.

Return transfer to Avignon TVG transfer : leave La Madone around 9 hr.
