Stay nearby Adam’s studio au Domain de Fumel

Le Domain de Fumel, Boisse (Dordogne) is a small hamlet of character old stone buildings, meticulously restored to high comfort gites for two people. Swimming pool & friendly welcome. Self-catering & own transport.

It’s also an inspiring place to paint! So why not come for a week and paint for two or three days?

La Borie du Chevrier is a ‘chambres d’hotes’ (bed & breakfast) as well as a ‘table d’hotes’ (evening meals cooked on the premises). A comfortable & character house, lovingly restored. Charming, quiet & secluded. The rose garden is wonderful. It even has an (optional) health spa ! The house is about ten minutes drive from the studio. In the morning, you are driven to the studio & then back at end of the afternoon. There’s space to paint chez Christine as well should you wish. It’s a beautiful place, with a truffle wood.

Christine will take good care you. The ambiance is warm & ‘dordogne’ french. Her cooking is a local legend, so you’ve come to ‘la bonne addresse.’ A hearty breakfast will set you up for the day. Lunch is a nice picnic & sandwhiches. Her evening meals are a well earned treat after a day’s paint, so a good venue for feasting. Self-service.
