La Borie du Chevrier is a ‘chambres d’hotes’ (bed & breakfast) as well as a ‘table d’hotes’ (evening meals cooked on the premises). It’s charming, quiet & secluded. The rose garden is wonderful. A character house, lovingly restored. It even has a health spa!

Christine will take good care you. The ambiance is warm & ‘dordogne’ french. Her cooking is a local legend, so you’ve come to ‘la bonne addresse.’ A hearty breakfast will set you up for the day. Her evening meals are a well earned treat after a day’s paint. Dinners are self-service.

Prices for Two People Sharing a Bedroom

Two peple sharing a bedroom (includes breakfast) : 40 euros per person per night, so 9 nights is 9×40= 360 euros total.

Diner (wine included) I person is 15 euros

So grand total for week is 9 nites + 7 diners (we go out elsewhere two evenings) = 465 euros Grand Total.

Prices for One Person in her Bedroom

One person in a bedroom alone (includes breakfast) :60 euros per night. So 9 nights is 60×9= 540 euros.

Diner (wine included) I person is 15 euros.

So grand total for week is 9 nites + 7 diners (we go out elsewhere two evenings) = 645 euros Grand Total

The Dordogne is known as ‘La Table de France’ with it’s abundant markets, fine wines and fresh fruit & vegetables.

Cuisine 2022

The Dordogne is considered by the French as ‘La Table de France.’ Here you will eat well… à la Française!

For lunches, snacks & nibbles, there’s ‘La Petite Epicérie’ in the village, near to the studio. Sophie proposes ‘un plat du jour (exemple : enchaud de porc de Saint-Chamassy accompagné de frites fraîches)’

There’s also a bar /pizzeria as well as a chic restaurant in the village. A small little local producers foodmarket. Vegetarians welcome.

There’s tea & coffee self-service in the studio.
