painting en plein

painting 'en plein air' - on location in the fresh air & warm Southern light

* Eight day course. That extra day on a week means that you have the time to progress.

* The painting course combines real painting with real learning in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, which sometimes reverberates with laughter. Going on a group activity holiday means that you are going to meet other people. People come from all over the world, bringing their desire to paint & to learn. This provides a golden opportunity of the sharing of a passion for painting.

watercolour painting courses en plein air

* The tutor has painted the area for many years & has carefully selected some wonderful painting spots. We go out painting on two day trips out , so you'll not miss seeing (& painting 'en plein-air') some of the beautiful Lot region. Being with a tutor who knows the area brings you a wealth of knowledge about what you are looking at.

* We visit the Prehistoric Painted Cave of Pech-Merle. To see this incredible sanctuary in the flesh is a moving experience. It will enlarge your understanding of 'art' & humanity. Adam will give a presentation on Prehistoric Art & Origins.
