We run two weeks every year. The dates are the last two weeks of june or into first week of july (saturday to saturday), as these are the best weeks for painting holidays. They are the last of the mid-season, so the prices remain low but the weather is normally good but not too hot nor too many tourists.

The weather during these weeks tends to be warm but not overwhelming. June is the season of the sunflowers, azure blue skies and heat. This period is before the heavy frequentation of high-season tourists.

Prices 2008

TO BE ANNOUNCED

probably & provisonally somewhere 940 euros per person per course

Includes:

*Seven nights accommodation. Course starts at 16hr Day One & finishes at 12hr Day Eight.

*Charming setting with very good painting possibilities.

*Qualified, experienced teacher & inspirational art workshop.

*Structured foundation course plus lots of quality individual one-to-one teaching.

*Full use of atelier & equipment (easels, boards etc. so you can fly light) & basic studio materials.

* Possibility of renting a set of oil paints so that you can just fly without any buggage worries.

* Full board with regional cuisine : dinners including 2 dinners in the chateau, lunches, continental breakfasts, aperitifs, wine , fruit juice, tea & coffee.

*Two trips out, including a visit to Pech-Merle prehistoric painted cave (small entrance fee at your charge).

*Transport to & from Figeac train station.

POSSIBILITY OF PAYMENT OF THE DEPOSIT IN STERLING. So as to facilitate banking operations for UK students, we are happy to accept the payment of the deposit in sterling. (As a rough guide total holiday price 890 euros = £640. For exact exchange rates, please use an on-line currency convertor).

What isn't included:

* Your travel & your painting materials (except studio basics such as solvents etc).

* Transport to & from Toulouse & Rodez Airports. We offer these at 80 euros per person, if required.

* Wine & aperitifs from pay bar , other than the first aperitif of the evening & 1/4 litre wine per meal.

Enjoy a good holiday whilst relaxing, sunbathing, allez au marché, dining, meeting other people, playing boules and, of course, ignoring the complexities of painter's worries...

Also the possibility of you arranging your own trips out the other sites, playing golf, going canoing(advice & addresses given).
