The Accommodation

The accommodation consists of the pretty, old, traditional stone farmhouses, which are found inside the chateau park. You don't sleep inside the chateau itself. They have been converted to a good, clean 'gite'
standard. Furnished with a sprinkling of antiques, they offer modern comfort with charm. The bedrooms are either double or twin en suites. Some have stunning views across the valley. There is the
possibility of single person accommodation.
There is a large, comfortable
salon & a country-style, modern, well equipped fitted kitchen (tea & coffee) with a washing
& drying machine. Towels are provided (thus allowing you to travel within
Ryan Air's weight limits).

There is a 10 x 5 meter swimming pool. With sun terraces ... it's not
all work you know, on a painting holiday! 'La Vie dub Château'
- whether relaxing by the pool, playing boules, having aperitifs, enjoying
good company or walking in the woods, there's much to enjoy on holiday
at Beduer.
Non-painting partners
can relax, go out on trips & enjoy the friendly ambiance as well. |
La Cuisine
Come to Beduer and wine & dine in good company :-) Laughter & conviviality is the norm. Friends are made & camaraderie soon flows.

At Chateaux Painting Holidays, we are proud of our reputation for serving 'la bonne cuisine'. We know that quality meals are important for your art vacation. You get the chance to taste some of the local dishes, expertly prepared by our award winning professional French chef, who really knows the regional cuisine. Vegetarians welcome.

A good french auberge-type four course menu at 1 pm & in the evening, a fresh, light buffet-style meal. These are self-service.

Either eating inside around the large oak table or outside under the grapevine, or here on a painter's picnic on a painting trip out
Each meal comes with good local wine or bottled water or fruit juice, if you prefer. There is also a pay bar.
'Un aperitif' is offered at the end of your painting day, so you can 'faire une p'tite degustation' of the fine, rich wine of the
region, Cahors, Bergerac & Monbazillac A.O.C. |

One evening during the week, we go out to a restaurant, either a charming local restaurant or down-town in medieval Figeac. Always a success !
